Fall Paintings

I know I have a million things to do, but I realized that to get them done I have to paint. Here are some new stuff.

Sad and Shy

This little boy did not want to partake in his family portrait this past weekend. I don't blame him. There are far more interesting things to do when you are four! Mr Shy didn't want to look into the camera at all, but I snuck some shots of him by himself and he is so cute. Here is one of them. I think he might think I'm the most evil person in the world :-(. I'm so sorry, but one day you might forgive me. Next time I see you I promise to just play and not take pictures! How is that for a deal?

Happy Birthday Quinn!

6 years old already! OMG how did that happened?! I took these pictures last weekend when we were playing in the park. We had a ball! He is one of the funniest, goofiest and clever kids I know. He makes everyone laugh! I love you Quinner, happy birthday!

Carlee Michele

This pretty lady is a friend of mine who is totally the funniest, cutest and crazy tiny little chatterbox that I know. This picture is so serious and I love it. She might not, but I'm posting it anyway. I think she look so pretty. She is also a jewelry maker and makes the most awesome stuff. I will have to convince her to start a blog to show it off. Anyway, I gotta go to work! Nice pretty day in Philly today!

More of my paintings

Love

If you touch my knee I will sing along
to the song playing on the radio
If you lay a hand on my neck I will
smile as wide as I can from ear to ear
If you crack a silly joke I will laugh
as if it was the funniest one ever heard
If you look me deep in the eyes I will
melt like a piece of ice on a sunny day
If you tickle me I will run as fast as I can
and come back with a serious smile
If you lay on a blanket with me I will
lay on your arm and watch your profile
if you open your eyes and look up I will
be in a tree and watch through the leaves
the most beautiful man there ever will be

The Beach

I sit and watch the waves crashing
as the soft breeze is kissing my skin
digging my toes in the sand
and gripping my easy read
leaving it all behind and sinking deeper
into the world of others in the book
imagination far away from reality
the strong morning coffee and the
brisk walk with my happy dog
making sure I hold on to every minute
embracing every second gratefully
giving thanks for what I've got and
not thinking about what I haven't

feeling peace from the deep within
and holding onto it like its golden
a soft stretch and a quite yawn
it's alright to feel tired today
even after a long night sleep
what a gift and what a beautiful thing
enjoying life for what it brought me
day dreaming about far away places
but staying put and feeling content
another carefree blue and sunny day

the beach this time of year
there is nothing like it
thank god for days like these
they don't come around every day
but when they do I embrace them
stress and must do's are all gone
and I enjoy the complete solitude

Not Far

I'm counting down trying to ignore the truth,
but it's always coming back to me again
Wondering if wrong can be right somehow
as I'm trying to comprehend why me
When something so far away left far behind
only leaving me feeling incapable of change
Where I'm dreaming it was not true but fake
seemingly sleeping is easier than being awake
It is not far and it is not right of you
It is not fair for me to feel incomplete
hurting from the muscles that are holding
my chest upright and free to breathe
still I'm leaving the skin that once was safe
to become the one i longed to be in the end

Walk in St Peter's with iPhone 1

Today after work I decided to take a walk in St Peter's Village. It was perfect. Warm, sunny and peaceful. I didn't have my camera with me but was dying to keep some of the images that I witnessed. Luckily I had my phone. I snapped these and was happy that they turned out ok for being pictures from a phone.

Walk in St Peter's with iPhone 2

Yes! I know you're not supposed to "destroy" nature with scribble and graffiti, but man I'm I happy people do! It is art no matter what is right or wrong. Look at these pieces of amazing compositions, balance, colors and textures made by human hands. It is wonderful to me. I love it; it inspires me, it makes me dream and it makes me jump for joy. Thank you to all the "bad" people who spray paint rocks. You are making a museum outdoors! And thank god for my iphone! ;-)

My Feet

My feet ran so fast that I crashed into the wall and started bleeding
So I stopped and checked my wound, but then I kept running
I was wondering if anyone saw me while I was hurting this bad
Totally content no one was breathing down my neck this time
but as soon as I realized I was still bleeding I knew the facts
I should have called for help but really did not know who could listen
The ones I wanted to hear was not close enough to hear me
every string that held me together was cut loose when I crashed
and they fell to the ground so fast I tripped all over them again
when I was down I noticed my feet and they where naked
they stood on the ground steady but with sensitive soles
My feet knew more about me than my brain and my heart
They told me not to jump, not to run and not to trust the ground
Told me to follow them and now I see them while I am standing
They carry me and I trust them even when they are hurting
My feet

My Friend Christian

Tonight I want to give thanks to one of my close friends. Christian is one of the most humble and genuine people that I know. Not only is he a good friend but he is artistic, spiritual and funny. He has more energy than the average person, which I see as a plus since I am moving around rather fast myself. He inspires me to be creative. He probably think I'm silly for saying all this, but this is my blog and I don't care. I think that these pictures I took of him this past weekend are great. We build a TTV and were trying it out. I just like the way they came out. Thanks my dear friend for always being there! Hate me as much as you want for bragging about ya! Oh, and to all the single women out there. Watch out! ha ha ha

Nature Compositions

I'm so happy to find things in nature that are pieces of art. They inspire me, they give me hope and they keep me creative. I have no plan or reason for most things I create. They are just spur of the moments kind of things. I think that I am fortunate to see, feel and understand. Not for anybody else than for me. We go about our days without looking and realizing how much beauty we are surrounded by. It doesn't matter who we are, what we do or where we are. It is all about what you allow yourself to see. Find it where no one else find it and make it yours. Enjoy it and treasure it like there is no tomorrow. Whatever you find that is beautiful to you is pure beautiful no matter what anyone says. Isn't that some kind of relief? Something we don't need to be paid for and that we get for free.

What the F was THAT!!!!???

Me, Krystal and Christian were out shooting pictures this passed weekend. I was in a "haunted" house looking out. I held my camera up ready to shoot this window when Christian came walking towards the building. A giant hawk or something scared the living shit out of him and he screamed. He scared me, which made me push the trigger on my camera. I had no clue I snapped the picture until later when I went through the photos I'd taken. I was laughing so hard! C, hope you like it!? This is my thanks to you for posting my butt on your blog!
