Pretty Taylor
I am so lucky to have friends with pretty children! Taylor is a beautiful 12 year old cool girl. She is so much fun and she has such a great spirit. Bubbly soul with both her feet steady on the ground. I imagine her being something big! I had fun shooting some pictures of her and she had fun acting "model". I am posting a couple of her pictures that I really like.

In Love!
I was shooting pictures at my friend's parents 50th wedding anniversary last night. It was pretty much a wedding where I had to shoot family pictures, first dance and the cake cutting! I'm not good with theses sort of events, but it worked out and the pictures look ok. What made my night though was the new love in my life. We met last year for the first time, but last night we just clicked! ha ha. We are in love! We danced, we hugged and we laughed! Nicholas is the cutest 3 year old ever! I am counting the days until I get to see him again. ;-)

The Rodent
for all that you've done getting undone
seeing all of it in a different light
feeling sad and crazy at the same time
cause seeing the light is what is good
when soon you've learned so much
from a silly incident that doesn't matter
even whatever is said you see the future
and what probably would become
a feeling like the one really heavy stone
you make the decision to leave behind
and appreciate what's right in sight
flying far away in life and mind
grasping hold of what's on the ground
filling lungs with in the end is poison
leaving a feeling good for the moment
will sure makes the birds sing louder
and the scaly snakes slither faster
stop and jump and hide for awhile
picking up all the pieces cautiously
thinking but remembering something
that will bring you back to the same
nothing ever changes it's for sure
a mirror and a reflection of the past
never will leave no matter what
building it up just to be torn down
what once was will always stay put
for all the stupid comments made
but giving thanks for opening me
it's a lesson ready to be at peace
in the soft small palm of my hand
I should have known better than that
No one would expect anything less
and leaving it all up to the painter
and the brilliant ideas that he has

This is true
A couple of nights ago on my way home from work I got stuck in a huge thunderstorm. I witnessed a tornado spiraling towards me on 422 and couldn't do anything else than drive through it. I couldn't see anything for a few seconds and my car swirled left and right across the road. I believed for a second that in that moment I was going to say good bye to the world. Luckily, it must have been a small twister and I got home safe and sound. It made me think about how powerless we really are.

First Abstract
and I wrote another poem called flying
answer with no end in sight
in a game where no rules apply
happy but sad at the same time
with a mind not ready to be read
but a bird who is ready for its flight
Holding on to what is given
with a heart that does the work
but a head that keeps on spinning
setting free leaving scared
in a challenge larger than me
running and sweat is dripping
down the back soaking wet
flaring arms grasping for air
while paying attention to the sound
of a loud heart beat pounding
birds praying watching
for every move that is made
but keeping a locked cage
holding the keys to the doors
soon open wide to solid ground
flying
